A social media knowledge portrait is a method of organizing human knowledge and intelligence to:  

  • Generate a unique entrepreneurial knowledge base;   
  • Increase serendipity and connect to unforeseen opportunities;    
  • Diversify strategic pathways for sharing and collaboration; 
  • Inventory knowledge, expertise, skills and interest; and 
  • Connect knowledge investments to education, economic and workforce development.

 American comic book writer, Joshua Dysart, asks for a strong, intelligent, diverse global debate on the individual vs. the collective - to address humanity's integration with each other and the natural environment.

Josh's use of art, metaphor, and dialogue brings storytelling to a new level. Stories once limited to single dimensional reporting are shared now as mature art forms brought to life by sophisticated digital platforms connecting audiences everywhere. New levels of aesthetic integration enhance our ability to share as one global voice, one world.

Josh is known for dark themes, humanist horror and a fascination with the roots of violence. He has created work for DC Comics, Vertigo Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics and worked on high profile projects like Van Helsing, Swamp Thing, and Hellboy (with Mike Mignola).

David Deming, Sculptor and past President of the Cleveland Institute of Art, shares stories of passing it on - sharing life's gifts that come to those who create work woven with wisdom, hope, caring, and compassion. As an educator, David's philosophy is to expose people to the power of creativity.

David describes a personal story of unexpected generosity that helped shape his career. As a practicing artist and well-known sculptor of busts and contemporary figures, he's made social connections to people whom he might not ordinarily have met through his work.

This is in a large part because of his interest in connecting with people and a preference to have his art lived with - in someone's home or yard - rather than confined to the isolation of an artist's studio.

  • Knowledge Advance - The Center is Knowledge Creation,
  • Social Context - The Center is the Balance of Interests and Economy (Includes education, industry, and economic development) and,
  • The Center is Supply and Demand. It is the combination of these three dynamics that creates the national or international social state.

Integral Futuring is a human-based process driven approach to future society. It offers an important alternate paradigm to traditional machine-based artificial intelligence philosophy.

There are many reasons why companies form global teams to work internationally and interdependently towards a common goal.  Global teams can be created to develop global strategies, or to work locally to execute these strategies, or both.  Multinational corporations often create global research and development teams to benefit from site-specific scientific expertise that is not available in one location, but is spread around the world.  Still, other companies create global teams in specific functional areas, like sales and marketing, and then have representatives of that function from around the world collaborate in teams.  This enables the organization to benefit from a diversity of perspectives and services that can match or fulfill the needs of a global client, wherever that client might be located.  No matter what the reason for the formation of a global team or what form the team takes, leaders and team members must address the complexity of global teamwork by architecting new ways of collaborating. Two conferences in the same town at the same time with opportunities to create meaningful intersections between them: COINS and ETHOS evolved as unique gatherings that bumped into each other, and now we've made it easy for attendants of each conference to bump into one another. What does this mean?
